Hi, I’m Emma - the creative behind Ruby and Millie Designs. 

After completing my art degree in London I went on to complete a PGCE and became a teacher. Although my career took me into the classroom, I never lost my love for making, designing and creating things by hand.

In my spare time, I taught myself how to crochet, and what began as a creative hobby quickly became something I absolutely loved. After having my children, I decided to turn my passion into something more and created Ruby and Millie Designs. The name and the business are both incredibly personal to me, and building this little brand has given me a wonderful way to combine my love of art, colour, crochet and design, alongside my teaching career.

Creativity has always been at the heart of everything I do, both in my own work and in the classroom.
